Recognition and celebrations
The feed
The team feed is where a remote team’s invisible moments become visible: shout-outs, celebrations, new playbooks, check-ins. Everyone can react and comment, which turns individual appreciation into a team moment.
Shout-outs
Anyone can recognise anyone — see Giving recognition. Shout-outs can be tagged with a value, are shaped by the recipient’s recognition language, accrue into their growth record, and mirror to Slack if connected.
Celebrations
Harmonic surfaces the moments remote teams forget to mark:
- A new playbook — when someone completes their questionnaire, the team gets a proper introduction: their name, their archetype, and a link to see how to work with them.
- Milestones — joining anniversaries and firsts.
- Birthdays — optional; people choose whether to share theirs.
None of this requires anyone to remember anything. The point of automating celebration isn’t to make it robotic — it’s to make sure distance never turns into invisibility.
Notifications
Reactions, comments and blockers notify the people they concern inside the app, so a shout-out never lands in an empty room. Mark them read from the bell.
